Soler: "We have to give everything against FC Cartagena"

Following the Copa del Rey draw that pits Valencia CF against FC Cartagena, Carlos Soler spoke to VCF Media to react to the pairing.
The Copa del Rey
In the end, we all know what the Copa del Rey is about. Many Primera División sides have fallen in the competition. We had to play extra time and they are difficult and tough opponents, whatever category they are in. In FC Cartagena's case, they are in the Segunda División.
FC Cartagena
I'm sure that playing at home, they will put a lot of pressure on us and they will be very motivated, but they cannot beat us in that aspect, because the Copa del Rey is a very important competition.
Aiming to go far in the competition
I personally have managed to win it with Valencia CF, and I would like to win it again. So after these two games that we have won in the Copa del Rey, we want to continue with this streak and hopefully we go into the next round.
In this type of game you have to at least match the level of intensity that the other teams are going to put in, because it will be very high. These opponents from lower divisions always make things difficult for you, whatever level that may be. A Segunda División side is supposedly even more difficult.
The responsibility to do well
We have to be alert, but we are Valencia CF and we have to give it everything to go into the Round of 16, because in one game you are in the quarterfinals and you are close to the final stage. We are motivated for this edition of the cup.
